What NumbersIntel does

Most lottery sites stop at the winning numbers. NumbersIntel goes further: we run the real expected-value math on every major draw game, so you can see what a ticket is actually worth — not just what was drawn.

For each game we publish the live jackpot and cash value, the exact odds straight from the game's number matrix, and — the figure nobody else makes clear — the expected value per dollar: how many cents a $1 ticket returns once every prize tier and taxes are counted. It's the single number that tells you which game is the least-bad bet on any given night. They are all negative-expected-value by design; some are simply far less bad than others.

Beyond value, we compute the number statistics players actually look for — most and least common numbers, hot and cold trends, overdue numbers and full draw-frequency history — with an honest caveat: draws are random, and these statistics describe the past. They do not predict the next draw, and no number is ever "due."

Coverage spans roughly 150 draw games across 47 US jurisdictions — every state that runs a lottery, plus Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico — and the UK National Lottery, all refreshed automatically after each drawing. Free calculators, an odds visualizer and plain-English guides round it out.

How we compute it — and why you can trust the numbers

Every figure comes from official lottery sources, refreshed automatically by a scheduled data pipeline after each drawing, with a full historical archive behind it. Odds are computed combinatorially from each game's published matrix; expected value sums every prize tier after an assumed post-tax take. We document exactly how each statistic is derived on our methodology page, and the underlying draw data for every game is downloadable as JSON.

NumbersIntel is independent and informational only — not financial, legal or gambling advice. The lottery is a negative-expected-value game; play for entertainment, never as an investment. You must be 18+ (21+ in some states). If gambling is a problem for you or someone you know, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
