How Daily Keno works

Daily Keno is a Michigan lottery game drawn Nightly, with tickets from $1 to $10. Its top prize is 22 of 80. NumbersIntel gathers its latest results, full odds and prize structure, and number-frequency history in one place.

We compute the odds directly from the game's published rules, so you can see exactly what each prize tier is worth. As with every lottery game, the expected value of a ticket is below what you pay for it — it is entertainment, not an investment.

Our archive holds 6,118 Daily Keno draws going back to 2009, which powers the number-frequency statistics — the most and least common numbers, current hot and cold streaks, and the longest-overdue numbers. Those describe what has already happened; because each draw is independent, no number is ever truly ‘due.’

Most and least common Daily Keno numbers

Across 6,118 draws on the current 1–80 number pool (since 2009), the numbers drawn most often are 79 (1750), 29 (1741), 70 (1740), 22 (1738), 63 (1734), 65 (1734). The least often: 50 (1635), 35 (1633), 46 (1631), 78 (1630), 47 (1621), 31 (1594).

The commonest leads the rarest by about 10%, and that means nothing at all. Over this many draws ordinary random variation produces spreads of roughly this size — a fair game would almost never land every number on an identical count. No number is "due", and none of this predicts the next draw. We count only draws from the game's current number pool, because earlier draws used a different one and mixing them manufactures a pattern that was never there. We tested whether hot numbers actually win.

About this data

Every figure here comes from official lottery sources, refreshed after each drawing. We compute the odds from the game's published rules and, where the prize structure allows, the expected value of a ticket. See our methodology page for the full method, and the guides on expected value, how the odds work and whether hot numbers win.
